Terms of service

The Tech Deck may update these Terms of Service at any time. The version posted at the time of purchase applies to that order. By placing an order with The Tech Deck, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. 

Products & Services

The Tech Deck, LLC sells new, factory-sealed filament and provides custom 3D printing, design, prototyping, and manufacturing services. 

Filament Orders

All filament is sold brand new, sealed, and in original manufacturer packaging. Filament is moisture-sensitive and considered perishable. Opened, unsealed, partially used, or damaged filament cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

Unopened filament may be returned within 7 days of delivery if factory sealed and resellable. Approved exchanges are accepted only for unopened products. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Custom 3D Printed Orders

All custom 3D printed items, parts, models, prototypes, and made-to-order products are final sale. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving order details before fulfillment. Once an order is approved and fulfilled, no returns, refunds, or cancellations are accepted.

Customer Files & Intellectual Property

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use, upload, reproduce, modify, or print any files, models, logos, designs, or reference materials they provide. The Tech Deck, LLC may refuse any order that appears unsafe, illegal, restricted, infringing, or inappropriate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customer-provided files remain the customer’s property. Designs, files, modifications, and production methods created by The Tech Deck, LLC remain the property of The Tech Deck, LLC unless specifically transferred in writing.

Print Quality & Tolerances

3D printed items may have minor layer lines, surface texture, color variation, support marks, or slight dimensional differences due to the nature of additive manufacturing. These are not considered defects unless they prevent the approved item from functioning as intended. 

Order Approval

The customer is responsible for confirming sizing, color, material, quantity, design, and intended use before production. The Tech Deck, LLC is not responsible for errors in customer-provided files, measurements, or specifications after approval. 

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on product availability, production time, carrier delays, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier, The Tech Deck, LLC is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery issues, but we will assist where possible.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Damaged or incorrect orders must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with order details and photos. The Tech Deck, LLC will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution. 

Limitation of Liability

The Tech Deck, LLC is not responsible for misuse, improper installation, improper storage, modification, or unintended use of any product or 3D printed item after delivery. Custom printed parts should not be used for safety-critical, medical, automotive, load bearing, electrical, food-contact, or high-risk applications unless specifically reviewed and approved in writing.

Payment

Orders must be paid in full before products are shipped or custom work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

Right to Refuse Service

The Tech Deck reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or decline any order at our discretion, including orders involving unsafe, illegal, restricted, copyrighted, trademarked, or questionable content.
